Dubai’s Burjuman Metro Station to Host New Co-Working Space: WO-RK

Dubai commuters are in for a treat as a new co-working space is set to open at Burjuman Metro station. The initiative, named ‘WO-RK,’ is a collaboration between Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Co-Spaces. Scheduled to launch between April and June on a trial basis, WO-RK aims to provide easily accessible, affordable, and inspiring workspace within the metro station.

Mohammed Al Hammadi, Director of Commercial and Investment at RTA, expressed pride in seeing this concept materialize, emphasizing its alignment with Dubai’s urban development goals. The initiative reflects Dubai’s ambition to become the world’s best city for living, as outlined in the Dubai Urban Plan 2040. Following the success of the first co-working space at Burjuman Metro Station, RTA plans to expand this concept to other strategic locations along the metro network.

Shahzad Bhatti, founder of The Co-Spaces, highlighted the significance of this collaboration in providing innovative work solutions and fostering a dynamic work environment. The partnership aims to shape the future of workspaces by offering convenience, flexibility, and community engagement.

WO-RK will not only provide workspace but also offer essential business support services. This includes assistance in obtaining mainland licenses, Ejari, and business addresses, streamlining the process for entrepreneurs and businesses. Additionally, the co-working space will conduct educational and mentorship programs, adding value to the experience for users.
