Dubai is set to welcome 2024 with a dazzling fireworks display from eight prominent locations.
As the clock strikes on New Year’s Eve (NYE), fireworks illuminate the skies at Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab, Hatta, Al Seef, Bluewaters, The Beach, and Global Village.
Global Village’s Multi-Country Countdown:
Global Village will usher in the new year with a unique celebration featuring seven countdowns and fireworks displays.
Starting at 8pm, the festivities will mark midnight in China, followed by Thailand (9 pm), Bangladesh (10 pm), India (10.30 pm), Pakistan (11 pm), UAE (12 am), and concluding with Turkey at 1 am.
Dubai’s New Year’s Eve line-up includes diverse entertainment, including concerts, drone shows, beach parties, and numerous dining options.
Spectacular Drone Shows:
Over 800 synchronized drones will light up the night sky in two breathtaking displays at The Beach, JBR, and Bluewaters.
The first show at 8 pm will celebrate Dubai’s past, while the second at 10 pm envisions the city’s future.
Star-studded Concerts:
Several venues across Dubai will host star-studded concerts to ring in the new year:
- Atlantis, The Palm: Music legend Sting headlines the gala event.
- Dubai Opera: Fantastic Negrito, Dubai Opera Big Band, and DJ Slim will entertain crowds.
- Beach festival: Rudimental, Sigala, and Nathan Dawe will feature at Zero Gravity Dubai.
- Rixos The Palm: English musician John Newman takes the stage.
- Burj Al Arab: The Gypsy Kings will enchant the audience at the Marine Garden.
