Dubai introduced a groundbreaking fundraising campaign on Monday, aiming to raise Dh50 million annually to support essential medical care for 3,000 children. The initiative, called The Child Fund, is tailored to ensure access to life-saving treatments specifically at Al Jalila Children’s Hospital.

Collaborative Philanthropy for Child Healthcare

This philanthropic endeavor is a collaborative effort led by Dubai Health, a consortium comprising six hospitals, Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Al Jalila Foundation, and numerous other healthcare facilities. 

The launch event, held at Al Jalila Children’s Hospital, was graced by the presence of Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed, the vice chairman of the Dubai Health board of directors.

Hands-On Commitment: Sheikh Mansoor’s Involvement

During his visit, Sheikh Mansoor personally engaged with young patients undergoing treatment, symbolizing a hands-on commitment to the cause. His presence underscored the significance of The Child Fund in ensuring comprehensive care for children, which is a central focus within Dubai’s health system.
