Dubai International Airport (DXB) has achieved a significant milestone by installing over 520 hearing loops across its three terminals. This initiative marks the world’s largest deployment of hearing loop technology at an airport, underscoring Dubai’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.

Hearing loops, also known as induction loops, are assistive listening systems that transmit sound directly to hearing aids or cochlear implants equipped with a telecoil (T) setting. This technology enhances the clarity of speech in noisy environments, making it particularly beneficial in public spaces like airports.

The hearing loops have been strategically installed at key locations throughout DXB, including:
- Check-in counters
- Immigration desks
- Boarding gates
- Information desks
