Dubai Airshow 2023 saw an impressive array of deals and major announcements, with over $101 billion announced throughout the week.
Some standout agreements included Emirates’ monumental $52 billion order for 95 additional wide-body aircraft and a $6 billion order for 15 Airbus A350-900 jets.
Ethiopian Airlines Group also made waves with an MOU for 11 Airbus A350-900s and orders for 11 787-9 Dreamliners and 20 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
Unprecedented Attendance and Growth Plans:
The event witnessed an extraordinary 30% increase in attendance compared to the previous edition, drawing over 135,000 attendees.

Tawazun Council, working closely with the Ministry of Defence and security agencies, signed Dh23.06 billion of contracts with local and international companies.
Key agreements included a Dh2.14 billion deal with Halcon for ammunition procurement and contracts with International Golden Group for technical support and purchasing engines and aircraft parts.
Focus on Space and Future Technologies:
The 18th edition spotlighted space and future technologies, with the UAE Space Agency unveiling the MBR Explorer timeline, the spacecraft for the Emirates Mission to Asteroid Belt (EMA).
The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) and Eanan, a UAE technology company, also inked an MoU to advance air mobility solutions.
Milestone Partnerships and Collaborations:
Dubai Airports, the world’s largest international hub operator, announced a significant partnership with Intelak Hub, an innovation incubator dedicated to travel, tourism, and aviation in Dubai.
