In a curtain-raiser event for the prestigious $2.5 million Dubai Invitational, a trio of Danish golfers – Thomas Bjorn, Rasmus Hojgaard, and Nicolai Hojgaard – hosted a golf clinic. This special event, organized for the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) and Dubai Creek Juniors, was held at the Dubai Creek Resort, providing a unique opportunity for young golf enthusiasts to learn from some of the best in the sport.

Preparing for the Dubai Invitational

The clinic was held on the eve of the Dubai Invitational, a significant golf tournament featuring a mix of professional and amateur players. The event’s format includes play in fourballs (two professionals and two amateurs), with a two-tee start off both the 1st and 10th tees. The 30 groups participating in the tournament will tee off from 8.30 am until 11.09 am.

Among the notable golfers participating in the tournament is Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy, who will tee off at 9.14 am off tee 10, partnered with tournament host Abdullah al Naboodah. McIlroy, who has expressed excitement about starting his year at the Dubai Invitational, will join Ryder Cup-winning captain Luke Donald, Tommy Fleetwood, and Nicolai Hojgaard on the course.
