Based between Lebanon and Kuwait, her journey reflects a long-standing commitment to storytelling that connects cultures, preserves identity, and gives voice to human experiences often left untold.
A Journey Grounded in Journalism and Media Integrity
Corine Chalfoun’s professional path began while she was completing her Master’s degree in Journalism. During this formative period, she entered the media world as a researcher at LBCI, working alongside Malek Maktabi on the renowned program Ahmar Bel Khat El Arid. This early experience shaped her understanding of investigative storytelling, responsibility, and the power of media to influence public awareness.
She later joined Star Academy as an online story editor, managing daily digital content for one of the region’s most influential reality shows. Around the same time, she also hosted a radio show, expanding her voice across platforms and strengthening her connection with audiences.
These early roles laid a strong foundation in journalism, editorial storytelling, and audience engagement.
Entering the World of Casting and Television Reality
Corine Chalfoun then transitioned into the world of television casting, where she discovered her unique ability to recognize emotional truth and raw talent. She worked as a casting professional on major regional productions, including The Voice, The Voice Kids, Arabs Got Talent, Mental Samurai, The Desert, Qerm El Nofouz (قرم النفوذ), and several other reality formats.
Her casting philosophy focused on authenticity rather than appearance, ensuring that stories were told through people who genuinely represented them. This approach earned her a strong reputation in the industry and positioned her as a trusted creative collaborator.
Expanding Into Scripted Series and Film After Beirut Blast
Following the Beirut port explosion, Corine Chalfoun expanded her work into scripted series and film casting, marking a new chapter in her career. She began as a casting director on the series 607 with Imagic, followed by the first Iraqi–Lebanese series, Om Badila (أم بديلة).
She later dedicated months to casting the biographical series Masirati: George Wassouf, which aired on Shahid, ensuring emotional accuracy and respect for the artist’s legacy. She also worked on the feature film Arze, produced by Ambient Light, which went on to screen at more than 15 international film festivals worldwide.
These projects deepened her creative maturity and expanded her influence beyond reality television into cinematic storytelling.
A New Chapter in Kuwait and Global Productions
Three years ago, Corine Chalfoun relocated to Kuwait, where her career continued to evolve. She worked on multiple commercial productions and served as a line producer on an original Netflix series, gaining hands-on experience in large-scale international productions.
Today, she works as a producer with Shasha, the first Kuwaiti digital platform, where she has contributed as a co-producer on a Netflix series and as a line producer on two major series scheduled for Ramadan 2026.
This phase reflects her ability to adapt, lead, and create across borders while maintaining artistic integrity.
Podcasting as a Love Letter to Lebanon
Corine Chalfoun’s podcast كورين مرّت من هنا, hosted on Podeo, holds a deeply personal place in her journey. It became the only space where she was able to fully express her love for Lebanon, its beauty, complexity, and spirit.
Through honest conversations and reflective storytelling, the podcast highlighted identity, resilience, creativity, and the emotional ties to home. While professional commitments prevented the continuation of Season 2, the podcast remains a meaningful creative milestone and a heartfelt tribute to her roots.
A Life Shaped by Adventure and Exploration
Beyond media, Corine Chalfoun lives a life defined by movement and exploration. Hiking, climbing, traveling, and immersing herself in nature are essential sources of inspiration. These experiences shape her storytelling with empathy, curiosity, and global awareness.
Adventure, for her, is not escape but fuel. It allows her to return to her work with clarity, depth, and renewed creative energy.

She believes media should do more than entertain, it should create connection, spark reflection, and preserve human stories.
