Burj Khalifa Turns Blue to Celebrate the New Dubai Metro line

In a momentous decision, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, sanctioned the ambitious new Dubai Metro line project, signaling to initiate the ‘Blue Line’ extension.

The emirate has allocated Dh18 billion toward expanding the Dubai Metro, marking a significant investment in enhancing the city’s transportation infrastructure.

Iconic Celebration at Burj Khalifa:

The monumental announcement was celebrated grandly at the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building and a symbol of Dubai’s skyline. 

In a breathtaking display, the skyscraper radiated a brilliant blue hue, symbolizing the commencement of the ‘Blue Line’ extension project.
