This incident comes after a similar event in January 2021 when a small bomb went off near the Israeli embassy in New Delhi. Back then, no injuries were reported, but Israel treated the blast as a terrorist incident.

Despite the blast, the city’s fire service discovered nothing significant in their search operation. Atul Garg, a senior official from the fire department, informed the media that the investigation is still underway.
