Upon their arrival, the couple became among the residents who occupied apartments that were originally designated to accommodate multinational staff working in and around the pavilions of Expo 2020 Dubai. 

These apartments, numbering 2,273 and spanning from studios to three-bedroom units, were grouped into four clusters.

The Post-Expo Transition

After the conclusion of the six-month world fair on March 31, 2022, occupants began to vacate these Expo 2020 Dubai apartments. This marked a transition in the purpose of these residences, making them available for purchase or lease.

Housing Costs

For those interested in securing a place in these apartments, Property Finder reported that two-bedroom options were available for as low as Dh80,000 per year, opening up diverse opportunities for individuals and families seeking to call Dubai their home.
