Air Arabia, the UAE’s low-cost carrier, initiated its first non-stop flight from Ras Al Khaimah to Kozhikode in Kerala, India.
The inaugural flight, G9 728, marked the beginning of the direct route aimed at enhancing connectivity between the two destinations.
Flight Schedule and Frequency:
The flight schedule includes departures from Ras Al Khaimah on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 2.55 pm and arriving in Kozhikode at 8.10pm.
The return flight, G9 729, leaves Kozhikode at 8.50pm and lands in Ras Al Khaimah at 11.25pm, offering travelers three weekly flight options.
Inaugural Ceremony and Dignitaries:
Before the inaugural flight on November 22, an official ceremony was held at RAK International Airport. Key dignitaries present included Engr.
Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation, and Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul-General of India to Dubai. Representatives from Air Arabia, trade partners, and other guests also attended the event.
