The Dubai Airshow 2023 kicked off with a stunning display of UAE aviation prowess on Monday, featuring an impressive flyby above the Dubai World Central (DWC) runway.
The event highlighted the country’s capabilities and innovation in the aviation sector.
Emirates A380 Leads Formation in Awe-Inspiring Display:

The iconic Emirates A380, the world’s largest commercial passenger aircraft, led the aerial formation, setting the stage for a captivating display.
The UAE’s air display team, Al Fursan, followed in a V formation, leaving behind vibrant red, green, and black smoke trails.
Diverse Aircraft Formation Soars Through the Skies:
The formation showcased various aircraft, including an Emirates Boeing 777, an Etihad Airbus A350, an Air Arabia Airbus A320, and a flydubai Boeing 737.
The graceful maneuvers and synchronized flight left hundreds of spectators and aviation enthusiasts in awe.
This aerial achievement’s success resulted from extensive planning and collaboration over several months.
Teams from Emirates, other UAE carriers, the UAE Ministry of Defence, UAE Military, Emirates pilots, Flight Operation Managers, and Air Traffic Controllers worked closely to ensure a seamless and safe display.
Emirates’ New Signature Livery Takes Flight:
The Emirates A380 and Boeing 777 showcased the airline’s new signature livery, adding a dynamic and contemporary visual element to the display.
The low altitudes of 100 meters for the A380 and 160 meters for the Boeing 777 added to the spectacle.
The breathtaking aerial display enthralled spectators and attendees at the Dubai Airshow.
Some expressed their desire to return to the Airshow, impressed by the flyby and the diverse businesses at the event.
International Attendees Share Enthusiasm for Dubai Airshow:
Attendees worldwide, including Lithuania and Kenya, shared their excitement.
Aiste Ruzgiene from Lithuania was amazed and expressed a desire to return, while a Kenyan national planned to save up for a return visit specifically for the Airshow.
The Dubai Airshow will continue for the next four days, from Tuesday, November 14, to Friday, November 17.
The skies over the Skyview Grandstand at Dubai World Center will be the canvas for daily aerial acrobatics, providing spectators with a thrilling experience from 2 pm to 5 pm.
