Adam Kassab: The Complete Story Behind Influency’s Growth

Adam Kassab

Adam Kassab grew up in the United Arab Emirates surrounded by stories of ambition, progress, and reinvention. From an early age, he observed people arriving with little more than determination and slowly building meaningful lives. In that environment, growth felt natural and achievable. Reinvention was not something rare but something expected. This atmosphere shaped how Adam Kassab came to view responsibility, opportunity, and success.

As a young boy, Adam Kassab worked closely with his father and was trusted with real responsibilities. These were decisions that mattered, not symbolic roles meant only for learning. Being exposed to accountability at such an early stage removed the fear of responsibility and replaced it with confidence. Over time, this trust became the foundation of his leadership style and his comfort with making decisions under pressure.

Today, Adam Kassab is the co founder of Influency, a UAE based startup that is redefining how brands and creators collaborate. Influency is often described as a matchmaking platform for influencer marketing, designed to bring transparency, fairness, and efficiency to an industry that has long struggled with outdated systems. In less than six months, Adam Kassab transformed an idea into a functioning company, built a growing team, hosted industry events, and earned trust within a competitive startup ecosystem.

A Life Shaped by Culture, Movement, and Perspective

Adam Kassab’s life has been shaped by living between the United Arab Emirates, Beirut, and Spain. Each place influenced his mindset in a unique way. Beirut taught him resilience and adaptability. Spain sharpened his thinking around structure, discipline, and data driven execution. The United Arab Emirates reinforced ambition, speed, and the belief that scale is always possible.

Rather than adopting a single way of thinking, Adam Kassab learned to combine these perspectives. This blend allowed him to remain creative while staying structured and ambitious while remaining grounded. He believes strongly in the idea of momentum and often speaks about the importance of recognizing when progress is happening and building on it. Instead of focusing only on avoiding failure, he emphasizes sustaining growth and compounding success when things are moving in the right direction.

This philosophy has shaped how Adam Kassab approaches leadership, strategy, and long term vision.

Starting a Professional Journey Without a Clear Map

Adam Kassab began his entrepreneurial journey at the age of twenty two while still attending university. Along with friends, he launched his first brand without a clear roadmap or guarantee of success. Balancing academic responsibilities with work and personal expectations was challenging, and there were moments of uncertainty and pressure.

His academic background helped him navigate those challenges. Adam Kassab studied engineering at the American University of Beirut, where he developed a structured approach to problem solving. Later, he completed a Master’s degree in Data Science in Spain, which strengthened his belief in data driven decision making. These experiences trained him to approach business challenges logically while remaining open to experimentation and iteration.

These early lessons would later become critical as he moved into the world of startups and technology driven businesses.

Meeting a Co Founder and Returning to the UAE

During his master’s program, Adam Kassab met Alejandro Perez, who would later become his co founder. The alignment between them was immediate. They shared similar values, ambition, and a strong focus on execution. More importantly, they believed in building something meaningful rather than chasing short term success.

After graduating, Adam Kassab and Alejandro Perez made a deliberate decision to return to the United Arab Emirates to build their company together. This choice was driven by opportunity rather than comfort. The UAE offered a supportive ecosystem for startups, access to mentors and investors, and a culture that encourages ambition and scale.

Once back, Adam Kassab immersed himself fully in the ecosystem. He attended industry events, joined startup communities, and held daily conversations with mentors and founders. Since launching Influency, he has spent more than one thousand minutes in direct mentorship, treating every discussion as a chance to learn and improve.

Discovering a Broken Influencer Marketing System

Before building Influency, Adam Kassab worked on a venture called Agua Pop, where he experienced influencer marketing from a practical perspective. During this time, he noticed recurring problems within the industry. Collaborations were often driven by surface level metrics such as follower counts, rather than genuine alignment or measurable performance. Payment processes lacked transparency, and campaign results were difficult to track accurately.

Adam Kassab realized that these issues were not the fault of creators or brands. Instead, they were the result of an outdated system that had not evolved with the digital economy. This realization became the foundation of Influency.

Every conversation reinforced this belief. Whether speaking with creators, brands, or marketers at events and online discussions, Adam Kassab heard the same frustrations repeated. Each interaction validated the problem and increased the urgency to build a better solution.

Building Influency Into a Real Company

Influency was built with speed, focus, and continuous feedback. The platform allows brands and creators to discover and connect with each other through intuitive matching, clear campaign requirements, and smart filters. Influency also manages payments, performance tracking, and post campaign analytics to ensure fairness and accountability for all parties involved.

In less than six months after completing his master’s degree, Adam Kassab helped launch Influency in the UAE, built a team of more than nine people, hosted industry events, and earned trust from investors and partners. For him, the most meaningful achievement was seeing people commit their time, energy, and belief to an idea that once existed only in his mind.

Leadership Rooted in Trust and Integrity

One of the most important lessons Adam Kassab has learned is the value of delegation built on trust. He believes that strong leadership is not about controlling every detail but about surrounding oneself with experienced people who challenge assumptions and improve execution.

Adam Kassab is intentional about working with mentors, advisors, and team members who bring real world experience. Every discussion is treated as a learning opportunity. Integrity, accountability, and shared responsibility guide how he builds teams and companies.

Beyond business, Adam Kassab believes deeply in helping others. Whether through financial support or simply being present when it matters, he believes that genuine support always finds its way back. Leading with honesty and pure intentions, in his view, allows trust to grow naturally over time.

A Long Term Vision Beyond Influency

Influency represents only the beginning of Adam Kassab’s vision. His long term goal is to reshape how influence operates across the digital economy. The data layer being built today will support future applications involving artificial intelligence driven campaigns, digital creator ecosystems, and emerging technologies.

Adam Kassab aims to make influencer marketing faster, smarter, more authentic, and accessible. He wants smaller brands and emerging creators to compete on equal footing with larger players by prioritizing alignment, data, and long term value rather than vanity metrics.

Advice for the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs

If Adam Kassab could offer one piece of advice, it would be to think deeply but move quickly. Strategy is important, but waiting too long for perfection often slows progress. The most valuable lessons come from real users interacting with real products.

Building, testing, failing, and iterating in public accelerates clarity and growth. Technology will always move faster than comfort, and learning to act decisively while remaining adaptable is a critical skill for any entrepreneur.

Creating Impact That Goes Beyond Business

Adam Kassab hopes to leave an impact by making influencer marketing fair, transparent, and genuinely effective. He wants Influency to empower smaller teams, emerging creators, and ambitious founders to succeed without being limited by outdated systems.

From growing up in the United Arab Emirates to building a startup with global ambition, Adam Kassab’s journey shows that momentum, integrity, and belief can turn ideas into companies and companies into forces that reshape industries.
