Abu Dhabi ITC Announces Operational Changes for Union Day Holiday

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi has announced operating changes for the 52nd Union Day Holiday in the UAE.

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi has declared the operational modifications for the UAE’s 52nd Union Day Holiday. 

Parking fees for MAWAQiF will be waived from December 2 until 7:59 am on December 5. Musaffah M-18 truck parking fees will also be exempted during the official holiday period.

Traffic Guidelines and Toll Gate Systems:

Drivers are urged by the ITC to refrain from parking in restricted areas and to avoid actions that could disrupt traffic flow. 

The toll gate system, Darb, will be toll-free on December 2. However, toll fees will resume during peak hours on December 5th, specifically from 7 am to 9 am and also from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Bus Services During the Holiday Period:

Public bus services in Abu Dhabi will follow weekend and official holiday schedules during the Union Day holiday. 

Additional regional and intercity trips will be arranged, including extra services to facilitate travel to and from the Sheikh Zayed Festival.

Customer Service Centre Hours and Online Services:

The ITC’s Customer Happiness Centres will remain closed from December 2 to December 5. However, customers can access ITC services online through the official website, www.itc.gov.ae, Darbi and Darb apps, and the “TAMM” platform for digital government services in Abu Dhabi.

Despite the holiday closure, customers can still request services by contacting the unified Service Support Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport at 800850 or the Taxi Call Centre at 600535353, which is available 24/7.
