Abu Dhabi Police have launched a new radar system, the EXIT-I, to monitor and improve road safety within the emirate.
This automatic radar system targets motorists who overtake near triangle intersections or purposefully enter roads in front of other vehicles.
Objective and Purpose:
The primary goal of the EXIT-I radar system is to alert drivers about the importance of adhering to traffic regulations.
It also seeks to cultivate greater awareness among motorists, emphasizing the significance of yielding to other vehicles and entering roads through designated points.
Abu Dhabi’s authorities emphasize that the cameras associated with this system are not deployed to gather violations but to bolster overall traffic safety measures.
