The 23rd Dubai Marathon, a prominent event in the international athletics calendar, provided a stage for elite runners to qualify for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics. Under the Dubai Sports Council’s management, the marathon showcased a fierce competition, especially between Ethiopian runners Dera Dida and Ruti Aga, alongside a strong male contingent led by Ethiopians Workineh Tadese Mandefro and Kebede Tulu Wami.
