Relief Amid Growing Caseload:

The UAE’s field hospital in Gaza’s Strip emerges as a crucial aid facility, supporting overwhelmed medical institutions in managing the escalating number of casualties.

Aiding Injured Residents:

Launched on December 2 as part of the Gallant Knight 3 humanitarian operation directed by President Sheikh Mohamed, the UAE’s medical teams have been actively providing crucial aid and treatment to Gaza’s injured populace.

Managing Daily Influx:

A consultant at the facility reported a daily influx of over 20 new cases of injured individuals. The 150-bed hospital, equipped with dedicated departments for adult and pediatric care, has efficiently managed complex cases, including those referred from other hospitals.

Handling Critical Cases:

Dr. Abdullah Al Naqbi, an ICU consultant and medical doctor at the field hospital, highlighted the institution’s focus on treating severe injuries resulting from the conflict. 

The hospital has effectively conducted intricate surgeries that were specifically required for complex cases referred from various established hospitals in the region.
