A Life-Changing Call from Lebanese University
Asaad Masri’s journey into the world of public relations began with a pivotal phone call. The Dean of the Faculty of Information and Documentation at the Lebanese University informed him of his acceptance and success in the entry exams right after he started his major in Biochemistry. This moment marked the beginning of a transformative path for Asaad as he moved to media and communications and continued his education to complete his Master’s degree in Media Studies from Notre Dame University(NDU) in Lebanon.
Discovering a Passion for PR
Asaad was drawn to public relations due to its blend of creativity, dynamic nature, and market demand. He found joy in crafting compelling stories and strategies that resonate with audiences. His work focuses on achieving significant results for clients and creating impactful narratives within their stakeholder groups.
A Serendipitous Opportunity
The first step in Asaad’s professional career came through a Facebook hiring post by a PR agency. He applied and was soon invited to meet the Founder and Managing Director in Beirut. This opportunity led him to travel to the UAE to join the agency, marking the beginning of his international career.
Embracing Challenges and Growth
Moving from Lebanon to the UAE was a significant challenge for Asaad. Leaving behind family and friends, he ventured into a new environment to pursue his career. Despite the initial difficulties, he now considers the UAE his second home, embracing the opportunities and experiences it offers.
Current Endeavors and Focus
Asaad is currently dedicated to supporting clients across various sectors in developing effective communication strategies. His work emphasizes regional media relations, ensuring that clients’ messages reach the right audiences through appropriate channels.

Asaad believes in challenging oneself and stepping out of comfort zones. He encourages others to push their limits, stating, “Challenge yourself and get out of your comfort zone; you can achieve more than you can imagine!” He values genuineness and advises against being double-faced, emphasizing the importance of authenticity in personal and professional life.
