At the time, topics like injectables were still taboo in the press, but Lucy was determined to shift the narrative and elevate the standard of coverage for aesthetic professionals.
Starting from Scratch
Lucy’s professional journey began at her kitchen table. With no financial backing and as a single mother to a newborn, she started from scratch. She saved up to buy a laptop and began reaching out to potential clients. Her first client signed up within days, followed by others, validating her vision and determination.

Expanding to the Middle East
Recognizing the burgeoning aesthetics market in the Middle East, Lucy expanded Cosmetic PR’s services to Dubai. This move made Cosmetic PR one of the first aesthetic specialist agencies in the region. The expansion allowed the agency to offer traditional PR services along with brand development and business growth strategies, catering to both local businesses and UK professionals looking to establish themselves in the UAE.
Launching Balanced PR
In 2023, Lucy launched Balanced PR, a sister company to Cosmetic PR. This new venture focuses on beauty, skincare, and wellness brands, aiming to increase their online visibility, sales, and customer base. Balanced PR operates internationally, covering both the UK and Dubai, and offers services including PR & communications, digital marketing, content creation, brand development, and social media management.
Industry Recognition and Awards
Lucy’s expertise and dedication have not gone unnoticed. She has been featured in numerous publications, including GLAMOUR, Metro, Aesthetics Journal, and Professional Beauty. In 2023, Cosmetic PR won the ‘Best Clinic Support Partner Award’ at the Safety In Beauty Diamond Awards, a testament to the agency’s commitment to excellence in the aesthetics industry.
Judging and Speaking Engagements
Lucy’s industry knowledge has led her to be selected as a judge for prestigious awards, such as the Professional Beauty GCC Awards in Dubai. She has also hosted panels discussing the evolution and innovation in the aesthetics sector, sharing her insights and experiences with other professionals.
