Spending several months in Stuttgart, Germany, he delved into video and photo shooting and editing while volunteering with AFS. During a challenging period of depression, Schady discovered art therapy as a means of self-expression. This exploration led to the creation of his project, Chapter Six Nine, marking his entry into filmmaking and commercial production. Through this project, he found a new avenue to channel his creativity and connect with others.

Joining Red Bull and the Birth of Disco Misr

At just 17, Schady joined Red Bull, launching his marketing journey while still studying architecture. This role connected him with artists, athletes, and celebrities, paving the way for his emergence as a band member of Disco Misr. Over the past decade, Disco Misr has gained widespread popularity for blending Arabic classics with disco, funk, and electronic music, performing globally with sold-out European tours in cities like Amsterdam, Paris, and Berlin.

Embracing Full-Time Artistry and Founding Rugged Arabia

Three years after joining Disco Misr, the band’s viral performances inspired Schady to fully embrace life as an artist. In 2022, he resigned from his previous roles to focus on his passion, founding Rugged Arabia. This company consults artists and agencies in the entertainment industry, helping them navigate their journeys through Schady’s own experiences.

Venturing into Smart Furniture Design with Space Squad

Expanding his entrepreneurial endeavors, Schady partnered with his sister’s husband, Ali Riad, and his brother Omar to co-found Space Squad. This furniture agency focuses on smart space solutions that merge design, function, and storytelling, combining Schady’s architecture background with the Riad family’s legacy in fabrics.
