She acknowledged initial doubts among skeptics regarding the UAE’s ability to host and lead the conference effectively.

In an interview with The National, Al Mheiri described these accomplishments as a wake-up call for observers. The UAE’s efficient management of the summit’s proceedings and satisfaction among involved parties have prompted a reevaluation. 

The minister stressed that despite being a smaller nation, the UAE effectively ensured the satisfaction of all stakeholders from the outset of Cop28.
