Mohamed Hassan Extraordinary Entrepreneurial Journey
Mohamed Hassan Abdelaziz—known to many as Aziz or affectionately, Anoud—is rapidly emerging as a powerhouse in the entrepreneurial scene across the UAE and Egypt. Behind the charismatic entrepreneur lies a story of resilience, reinvention, and relentless ambition. Aziz is not just building businesses—he’s building a legacy.
His journey is a masterclass in turning obstacles into opportunities. From early setbacks to multiple thriving ventures, Aziz’s rise is powered by strategic thinking, solid partnerships, and unwavering belief in his vision.
Laying the Groundwork: Education & Early Ambitions
Aziz’s business acumen began developing at a young age, but it was his academic journey that helped sharpen it. He holds an MBA from the esteemed German University in Cairo, with a focus on marketing, entrepreneurship, and strategic management. His education equipped him with the tools to transform bold ideas into sustainable ventures.

From Boardroom to Bold Moves: The Career Shift
Before embracing full-time entrepreneurship, Aziz led marketing and business development at Gold’s Gym Egypt. The role gave him deep insights into leadership, branding, and business operations. But his heart was always set on carving his own path.
“I’ve always done side businesses since I was young,” Aziz shares. “Eventually, I knew it was time to take the risk and go all in.”
Ruppells: The First Big Leap
Aziz made his debut as a founder with Ruppells, a commercial agency focused on franchising and business development in Egypt. Co-founded with partners Samia Allouba, Mohamed Mosaad, and Osama Mansour, Ruppells helped local entrepreneurs bring global brands into Egypt, offering them strategic growth support.
This venture marked his first big entrepreneurial move—and it was a bold one that would set the tone for his future.

Tasting Risk: Entering the F&B World
Venturing into the F&B space, Aziz acquired the master franchise rights for Shai w Na3na3, a Jordanian-Lebanese concept he believed could thrive in Egypt. But the timing was challenging—COVID-19 disrupted the launch, and the project was put on hold.
Rather than giving up, Aziz kept the franchise rights. His belief in the brand’s potential remains firm, and he sees the pause as temporary—not a defeat.
Pavilion: Turning the Page
Soon after, Aziz took over Pavilion, an international cuisine restaurant in Cairo Festival City. It was a pivotal moment. Pavilion thrived, proving that setbacks don’t define you—your comebacks do.
Dubai Dreams: The UAE Chapter Begins
At just 23, Aziz moved to the UAE in 2014, chasing global dreams. But the first chapter didn’t go as planned. Without the right financial backing or support network, his initial venture didn’t take off.
Still, he didn’t see it as failure. Just part of the process.
MAHD: Redefining Short-Term Rentals
In 2021, Aziz returned to Dubai—wiser, bolder, and ready to win. Alongside his life partners Asmaa Atta and Hesham Metwally, he co-founded MAHD, a premium holiday homes company that quickly rose to prominence.
