She moved to Dubai—alone and during one of the most uncertain times in history—to start over in an entirely new industry.
The Humble Beginnings in Dubai
Starting fresh was far from glamorous. Maristella’s early roles included working as a receptionist at a dental clinic, a hostess in a restaurant, and later as a receptionist in a gym. To support herself, she eventually took on the challenge of working as an accountant for four companies at once. These early jobs tested her resilience, work ethic, and ability to adapt quickly in a competitive environment.
Roots in Real Estate: Early Experience in Brazil
Maristella’s passion for real estate had quietly taken root long before Dubai. In Brazil, she had been actively involved in helping her family with the rental and marketing operations of their hospitality businesses—Pousada dos Azevedo and Chácara dos Azevedo. Her role in those ventures offered hands-on experience in hospitality, customer service, and real estate fundamentals. She is now proudly a co-owner of both establishments alongside her father.
From Development Sales to Her Own Brand
Over the last five years in Dubai, Maristella has spent three of them building a successful career in property sales within a leading development company. Her understanding of client needs, cultural nuances, and luxury real estate trends set her apart. Now, she is taking a bold step forward by launching her own brand—MAB Realty—and transitioning into the role of a broker with full independence.
