Retired Formula One icons are set to join forces with former fashion model turned driver Jodie Kidd for the upcoming second edition of the 1000 Miglia car race in the UAE. The event is slated to kick off next month, promising an exciting spectacle of talent and classic automobiles.

International Participation:

With a diverse assembly of 120 teams representing 31 countries, the event will commence on December 3 at the Meydan Racecourse in Dubai. Following this ceremonial start, the teams will embark on a riveting 1,600km journey across the UAE, traversing all seven emirates and making a historic stop in Oman for the very first time.

Star Drivers and Notable Figures:

The roster includes esteemed figures such as former Ferrari F1 driver Stefan Johansson, Belgian ex-Williams racer Thierry Boutsen, and Austrian racer Dieter Quester, renowned for his participation in the 1974 Austrian Grand Prix for the Surtees team. 

Alongside these illustrious names, Jodie Kidd, who competes for Maserati, will bring her prowess to the track, steering classic cars throughout the five-day tour spanning the UAE and Oman’s Musandam Peninsula.

Jodie Kidd, originally recognized as a prominent British model, transitioned into the world of motorsport, showcasing her driving skills to the public on a notable episode of Top Gear in 2003. Her rapid ascent in racing saw her clinch her first victory after only three attempts, marking the onset of a promising and successful racing career.
