His curiosity about how things work led him to pursue a degree in Computer Science at Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST), where he graduated with a commendable 81.7% grade. Mohamed’s career commenced at QNB as a Bank Teller in May 2018. While this role provided him with valuable customer service experience, his passion for design and technology propelled him to explore opportunities in the digital realm. In October 2020, he transitioned to Kashier as a UI/UX Designer, where he was responsible for creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual assets. His role involved gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into visual mockups, as well as conducting usability testing to enhance user experience.
Advancement in Design and Mentorship
In January 2022, Mohamed joined Halan as a Senior Product Designer. Here, he focused on creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback. He collaborated effectively with product, engineering, and business teams to incorporate customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design enhancements. Simultaneously, Mohamed took on the role of UX Session Lead at Udacity in December 2021.
