Etihad Airways Resumes East Africa Flights with Nairobi Daily Service

Etihad Airways has formally confirmed the restart of its East African services, with daily flights to Nairobi beginning on May 1, 2024.

Etihad Airways has officially announced the resumption of its flights to East Africa, with daily flights to Nairobi set to commence on May 1, 2024. 

This renewed route will reconnect Kenya’s capital with Etihad’s expanding global network.

Strengthening Cultural and Economic Ties:

Resuming flights to Nairobi will foster crucial cultural and economic ties between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and East Africa, particularly Kenya.

The daily flights between the two cities will re-establish commercial non-stop passenger connections, offering convenience and accessibility for travelers. 

Guests departing from Kenya will also have the opportunity to connect with Etihad flights to various destinations, including the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the United States, Europe, India, and South-East Asia.

Modern Airbus A320 Aircraft:

Etihad will operate these flights to Nairobi using a modern Airbus A320 aircraft, equipped with both Business and Economy cabins, providing passengers with a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience. Etihad’s award-winning service will also be available on these flights.

Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, expressed the airline’s enthusiasm about restarting flights to Nairobi. 

He highlighted the opportunity to welcome guests from Kenya to the UAE and provide them with access to Etihad’s extensive global network. 

This move is expected to enhance travel options and connectivity for passengers in the East African region.
