Thousands of Dubai residents commenced their Saturday morning with a spirit of compassion and unity, gathering for a noble cause to positively affect the lives of those affected by the conflict in Gaza.
Volunteers arrived as early as 8 a.m. at Qalaat Alremaal Hall on Dubai-Al Ain Road, where they joined forces to contribute to relief efforts for Gaza.
Relief Packages for a Worthy Cause:
Residents gathered to pack relief packages as part of the ‘Tarahum – for Gaza’ campaign initiated by Dubai Cares and the Emirates Red Crescent Society.
The campaign aligns with the UAE’s commitment to humanitarianism and aims to provide support and relief to those impacted by the war in the Gaza Strip.
The campaign is under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in association with the World Food Programme and the Ministry of Community Development, creating a powerful alliance to deliver aid effectively.

Volunteers spanned various age groups, with children, adults, and seniors coming together to lend a helping hand. Even 7-year-old Aziz and his mother joined the efforts to assist the people of Gaza.

Lebanese expat Asmah Rahman, a new resident in Dubai, brought her two daughters to the event.
She expressed her joy in being able to contribute to this worthy cause, emphasizing the compassionate and generous nature of Dubai’s residents from diverse nationalities.
