Omar Kobessy began his marketing journey in 2018 at Indigo Media and Egyweb in Egypt. There, he learned how to create and manage digital plans for well known brands such as Bingo, Beanos, La Poir, Al Mashreq Bank, and Cemex.

During this period, he gained experience in client communication, campaign planning, reporting, and performance analysis. He also participated in digital pitches for luxury brands like Jaguar and Range Rover Egypt, giving him early exposure to high level project expectations.

This experience built the foundation for his future in performance marketing.

Global Breakthrough on Upwork

In 2021, Omar Kobessy entered the global freelance market through Upwork. Before long, he became a Top Rated Performance Media Buyer. He worked with clients from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Lebanon, Jordan, and the United Kingdom.

One of his most impressive achievements on Upwork was managing Google Ads and SEO for Nexus Clothing, a well known urban wear brand in the United States. Under his management, the brand increased monthly revenue from forty five thousand dollars to one hundred thousand dollars while achieving a return on ad spend of nine point zero. This result placed the brand well above the industry average.

His success on Upwork proved that his skills could compete on an international level.

Joining Publicis Group and Managing Global Brands

In 2022, Omar Kobessy joined Zenith Media under the Publicis Group. Here, he worked on performance campaigns for well known international brands, including Loreal and Nestle. He handled everything from strategy development to execution, optimization, and reporting.

He also gained advanced experience with programmatic advertising, YouTube campaigns, and cross channel performance analysis. The role allowed him to work with large budgets and global teams, further sharpening his expertise.

Between 2022 and 2023, Omar Kobessy took on a leadership role at The Scarab Studio. He managed a small team that included a senior SEO specialist and a junior media buyer. One of his most important projects during this time was leading a United Nations funded NGO campaign across Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey, Iraq, and Jordan. This project allowed him to work on a large, multi country awareness campaign with a major social impact.

In 2023, Omar Kobessy joined Takteek, a Saudi ecommerce media buying agency, as the Google Ads Team Leader. He led a team of five Google Ads specialists and managed all ecommerce accounts handled by the agency.

Some of the well known brands he worked with include Elfaleh, Alghanem, Alshewerd, Fitness Max, and several other major Saudi ecommerce companies.

One of his standout achievements at Takteek was improving the performance of several accounts that were close to ending their contracts due to low results. Through strategy rebuilding, advanced tracking setup, and continuous optimization, he was able to turn these accounts around.

Ten Times Growth for Luban Oman and Makan Luban

In 2025, Omar Kobessy achieved some of the strongest results of his career while managing five international Google Ads accounts for Luban Oman and Makan Luban. His work included full funnel strategy development and advanced tracking setups.

His results included:
A ten times increase in monthly revenue from five thousand dollars to fifty thousand dollars.
An increase in return on ad spend from one point five to four point zero.

From 2024 to 2025, Omar Kobessy also led digital campaigns for Al Asmakh Real Estate in Qatar. His work covered Google Ads, YouTube Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and optimization of Google Business Profiles for all company locations.

His efforts resulted in stronger online visibility, higher quality leads, and increased foot traffic to Al Asmakh properties.
