The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Community Development Authority and several school administrations across Dubai, has announced the launch of the Future Generations Winter Camp 2025. Themed “A Generation Shaping the Future: Identity, Awareness, and Innovation,” the camp reflects the UAE’s commitment to empowering youth through education, creativity, and national values.
A Vision to Empower the Next Generation
The Future Generations Winter Camp 2025 aims to create an engaging learning environment where students can spend their winter break developing skills and knowledge while having fun. The initiative aligns with the UAE’s vision to nurture a confident generation capable of leading with innovation and integrity.
Running from December 8 to 25, the camp will take place across four locations in Dubai: Hatta, Al Lisaili, Zayed Educational Complex – Al Khawaneej, and Zayed Educational Complex (Cycle 1) – Al Barsha. These venues have been chosen to provide a variety of experiences that encourage learning through exploration, teamwork, and creativity.
Learning Through Exploration and Innovation
The camp will offer a diverse range of educational and interactive activities designed to strengthen students’ sense of national identity and awareness. It also introduces them to future-oriented subjects such as artificial intelligence, agriculture, space science, volunteering, financial literacy, and digital media.
Through workshops, field visits, and simulation experiences, students will develop personal and leadership skills, boost self-confidence, and enhance problem-solving abilities. Alongside intellectual development, the program emphasizes physical and mental well-being through sports, arts, and cultural sessions.
Focus on Different Age Groups
To ensure that each participant benefits fully, the Future Generations Winter Camp 2025 has separate programs for two main age groups.
Age Group 6–10 Years
Children in this category will participate in exploratory, cultural, artistic, and sports-based activities. These sessions will focus on introducing young learners to Emirati heritage and values, helping them understand their roots and fostering pride in their national identity.
Age Group 11–14 Years
Older participants will experience workshops tailored to innovation and future-focused learning. These include programs in science, leadership, technology, and creativity. Through hands-on sessions, students will learn about artificial intelligence, robotics, and environmental sustainability while enhancing their leadership and decision-making skills.
Both age groups will also attend sessions on ethics, leadership, and community engagement. These programs are designed to build responsible, creative, and well-rounded individuals who can make meaningful contributions to society.
