A Late Start in Sports
Ever since he was a child, Farhan has been captivated by the world of sports. However, unlike many young athletes, he didn’t have the chance to join school teams or shine in any sports events during his early years. His athletic potential only began to surface in his late teenage years, a time when he started to dedicate himself to improving his physical abilities. This delayed but determined start marked the beginning of Farhan’s remarkable journey in the world of athletics.
Education and Certifications
Alongside his budding passion for sports, Farhan pursued his academic interests with equal fervor. By the age of 23, he had not only earned an undergraduate degree but also completed his Master’s in Digital Marketing. To complement his academic achievements, he obtained various sports certifications from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). This combination of education and specialized training laid a solid foundation for his future career.
A Natural Leader
Farhan’s love for helping others achieve their fitness goals became evident during the last two years of his education. As the Captain of his University’s Athletics Team, he discovered a deep-seated calling to inspire and uplift his teammates. His role as the captain and a content creator allowed him to work closely with professional athletes from the UK, further sparking his interest in coaching track and field. This experience motivated him to delve deeper into the sport by doing external certifications and conducting research.
Mentorship and Early Coaching Success
A pivotal figure in Farhan’s coaching journey has been his mentor, Sasa Obradovic. Sasa, a well-established coach in the industry, guided Farhan during his early years as an athlete and instilled in him a profound appreciation for coaching. Under Sasa’s mentorship, Farhan flourished, eventually becoming the youngest track and field inter-university coach at Middlesex University Dubai at the age of 23. This achievement made waves across other University Track Teams, especially since Farhan had recently graduated and was already recognized as one of the best long-distance runners at the inter-university level in the UAE.
Silencing the Skeptics
Farhan faced significant pressure and skepticism regarding his ability to lead the University’s Track Team.. The team had a longstanding reputation for high performance, and many doubted whether such a young coach could maintain these standards. However, Farhan and his Team proved the critics wrong through sheer hard work and dedication. In his first season as the coach, the Team won six trophies and 80 podium medals. His second season was even more impressive, with the Team securing seven trophies and an astounding 131 podium wins across UAE, earning the title of the Best Team of the Year award.
Personal Achievements and Vision
Farhan’s personal achievements as a long-distance athlete are equally commendable. In just five years, he has won 100 podium medals in competitions across the UAE. He has been recognized three times as the best long-distance athlete and twice for his outstanding contribution to sports at his university. Additionally, he has earned two UAE National Federation medals, cementing his status as one of the top athletes in the country.
Looking ahead, Farhan is determined to elevate the standards of track and field at University-level in the UAE. He envisions a future where running is more heavily promoted and embraced across universities, creating a culture of excellence in athletics. His goal is for his Team to serve as an inspiration to others, demonstrating that with hard work and a “proving people wrong” mentality, great success is achievable.
A Young Coach Making Waves
At just 25 years old, Farhan is not only producing top athletes but also coaching the best team in the inter-university level in the UAE. He has nurtured athletes from their beginnings, helping them achieve their full potential. His efforts have not gone unnoticed, with professional athletes and seasoned coaches acknowledging the significant impact of his work. Farhan’s story is a testament to how one can overcome obstacles and achieve success through smart work, dedication, and an unwavering belief in their abilities.

His achievements, both personal and as a coach, highlight the power of perseverance and the importance of believing in oneself. Farhan’s story serves as a beacon of hope for aspiring athletes and coaches, showing that it’s never too late to pursue one’s passion and make a significant impact in the world of sports.
