The UAE Embassy in Bangkok issued an advisory on Tuesday in response to a shooting incident that rocked Thailand’s capital city.
The embassy emphasized that all Emiratis near the area during the shooting incident were reported to be “safe and sound,” as stated in a post on platform X.
Casualties and Panic:

Local authorities reported at least one person killed and six others wounded. Witnesses described a scene of panic as hundreds of people fled the upmarket Siam Paragon Mall in the heart of Bangkok when shots rang out around 4:30 pm (0930 GMT).
Detention of a 14-Year-Old Suspect:
Thai police have detained a 14-year-old boy in connection with the shooting. Following the incident, dozens of emergency response vehicles could be seen outside one of the shopping center’s main entrances.
UAE Embassy’s Safety Measures:
The UAE Embassy called on its citizens in the city to adhere to all safety instructions issued by local authorities.
Additionally, it urged Emiratis to register for the Tawajodi service and to immediately contact the hotline 0097180024 in case of emergencies.
